Legislative Advocacy
The Association Legislative Committee, Lobbyists and Board take relevant topics and issues in law enforcement directly to state and federal elected representatives to work for laws and regulations that enhance your ability to provide for safe communities. Our legislative committee ensures sheriffs, deputies and jail officers have input on actions that affect us all.

Insurance
Active law enforcement members receive a no-cost Accidental Death & Dismemberment benefit.

• Agency (up to 15; 1 Sheriff + up to 14 non-Sheriff): $225
• Agency (16-30; 1 Sheriff + up to 29 non-Sheriff): $500
  
• Agency (31-50; 1 Sheriff + up to 49 non-Sheriff): $850
  
• Agency (51-99; 1 Sheriff + up to 98 non-Sheriff): $1,200
  
• Agency (100+; 1 Sheriff + unlimited non-Sheriff): $1,750
