Membership

The Wisconsin Sheriffs & Deputy Sheriffs Association promotes the general public welfare through the cooperation of the different Sheriffs and Deputy Sheriffs in the State of Wisconsin in the performance of their duties.

The Wisconsin Sheriffs & Deputy Sheriffs Association is a professionally oriented association. We are dedicated to serving the officers of sheriff and its deputies/jail officers through planning and organizing various training events and conferences for its members throughout the year.

In addition, WS&DSA provides scholarships to students who are pursuing a career in law enforcement or corrections.

Become a Member

Membership in the Wisconsin Sheriffs & Deputy Sheriffs Association is divided into three classes: Active, Associate and Honorary.

Duly elected and qualified Sheriffs, full time Deputies and Jail Officers and Retirees from these positions, shall be eligible as active members of this Association.

Members are Deputy Sheriffs or Special Deputy Sheriffs who are not employed full time, but whose principal occupation is other than some phase of law enforcement work. An active member of the Association shall approve their membership application.

Members who support the Wisconsin Sheriffs & Deputy Sheriffs Association and concerned citizens of Wisconsin.
